CMRA Compliance
USPS Form 1583 is required before mail service begins.
Commercial Mail Receiving Agency notice
100 Acre Mail operates as a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA). Clients must complete the required USPS authorization process before receiving mail through the service.
Form 1583 and identification
Each mailbox client must complete USPS Form 1583 and provide required identification. Two forms of acceptable identification may be required. Business clients may also need to provide business/entity documentation and authorized representative information.
Service activation
Mailbox service, mail scanning, forwarding, pickup, and portal access may be delayed or restricted until compliance documents are received, reviewed, and approved.
Compliance Document Upload
Verified clients may upload USPS Form 1583, primary ID, secondary ID, and business/entity documents through the secure client portal for staff review. Uploading a document does not mean it has been approved; staff must review and mark compliance status.
Approved client address format
Clients should use their assigned mailbox number with a # identifier. Example:
6035 Executive Drive, Suite 1014, #123
Lansing, MI 48911
Replace #123 with your assigned client mailbox number. Do not use an unassigned number.
